Electrical Assembly Engineer
Job Summary:
Daro Manufacturing Services are looking for a skilled electrical assembly engineer to join our ever-growing manufacturing team. The electrical assembly engineer will be responsible for assembling and testing a wide range of electrical products. The successful candidate must have experience in electrical assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail and quality of work is essential in all aspects of the role
- Ability to follow SOPs
- Confidence to challenge working practices, and help us improve our assembly standards
- Product safety and compliance testing
- Ability to understand the workings and purpose behind the assembled components
- Develop and implement best working practice
- Perform operations such as wire prep and crimping
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Work with the assembly coordinator and production team to ensure work is driven through on time and to the highest quality standard
- Confident in delivering to a production schedule
Requirements:
- Experienced background in electrical components and assembly
- Confidence to put a name to checking procedures to ensure the highest standard of quality is always achieved
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This will extend to management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desirable:
- Qualification / certification in electrical assembly
- Wider background in mechanical assembly
