General Engineering – Spotwelding & Pemserting
Job Summary:
Daro Manufacturing Services are looking for a skilled sheet metal engineer to join our ever-growing manufacturing team. The general engineering – spotwelding and pemserting position will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality metal parts. The successful candidate must have experience in spot welding and pemserting, and have a good understanding of engineering principles
Key Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail and quality of work is essential in all aspects of the role
- Develop and implement best working practice
- Perform spotwelding and pemserting operations
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Work with production manager to ensure work is scheduled correctly and work driven through in the most beneficial way for production
- Confident in delivering to a production schedule
Requirements:
- Experienced background with sheet metal manufacturing
- Familiarity with various sheet metal materials including steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Confidence to put name to checking procedures to ensure the highest standard of quality is always achieved
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This will extend to management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desirable:
- Wider engineering / sheet metal experience
- Setting / Operating drills and fly presses
